You know, because I am trying to write a novel of quality and I really enjoy his writing but I have been unable to find him thusfar. I used to think I did well under pressure and the whole NaNoWriMo thing would be my cup of tea but I have been taught a valuable lesson - I don't like month deadlines. Creativity and the ability to put together coherent sentences doesn't just come at the snap of one's fingers people! I mean, really, I could put together something from what I have written so far and it would be ok but I am striving for something that's outside the box. I have honestly tried to tap into WSM but so far all I have been able to find is my inner Danielle Steele and Dan Brown and, quite frankly, I was wasn't too psyched about meeting them.
So, what to do now - do I keep on trucking and write what I want to write and when I want to write it? Who cares if NaNoWriMo ends in a week and a half? Artistic genius has its own time-table, right?

Study your surroundings. Reality is much more bizarre than fiction if you look closely.
I bet you would be an awesome writer.
Sometimes you sit down and write crap. I think everyone goes through that. But sometimes it's wonderful.
Just keep writing.
