No, it's not a delicious pie crust - it's my skin! Nice.
So yeah, anyway... Because of the e'er changing temperature outside and my heated apartment my skin is reacting badly. Honestly, it's behaving really naughtily and oddly enough, it's just my cheek areas, which, as you know, are my money-makers. So what's a girl to do with painful dry skin? Moisterize. I recently read an article in People and they asked Wentworth Miller (The blue-steel gaze dude from Prison Break) how he gets his skin so great and he said the secret was water, moisterizing, and (yay!) peanut butter cups. I think I am going to stick to this plan and see what happens although I think you have to follow it like 90% water/moisterizing and 10% peanut butter cups because then you fall into a whole new problem of zits and weight gain.
Seriously though, I am doing my best to moisterize after I shower and pretty much every night but I have issues with stuff on my face. Heavy creams are a burden so I am trying to find a facial moisterizer than isn't too heavy but will, at the same time, be a deep moisterizer. Oh-la-la, the epic goes ever on!
Oh, and note to self, scrubbing one's face with soap and then using astringent to get rid of the excess residue from the soap is NOT the best thing to do with sensitive skin because it burns like a mofo.
