In no way do I think of myself as a chocolate expert but I think I have come to the decision that Cadbury chocolate is better than Hershey chocolate. I have come to this result because I have been forced to buy chocolate bars for charity at work and people either have Cadbury or Hershey. Now, it seems to me that in my research I have found that Cadbury is far superior in its creaminess and overall "chocolaty-goodness" while Hershey, although containing almonds (a bonus) leaves a soapy aftertaste. This aftertaste stays with you and turns into a sickly-sweetness that you can't shake while Cadbury coats your brain with rich chocolate, numbing your senses and briefly taking you away from your troubles.
Now I know there are superior brands out there so don't get all up in my business about the awesomeness of Swiss or Belgian chocolate - I am currently only interested in brands easily available at the corner dep for research purposes.

Crunchie Bars were made to let you know that yes, indeed there is a God. And she loves chocolate too.
lol I jumped over from N@ page too and I think your ramblings are quite funny. This is the way I de-stress, thanks for the laughs.
As for the chocolate issue I don't eat Cadbury or Hershey's not my thing but wow I haven't had one of those sponge toffee chocolate bars since I was 12. Do they still taste the same?
Thanks for dropping by. Much obliged.
As far as I know the taste of the Crunchie Bars hasn't changed over time. Maybe I should research it more. :)
Hey cool. I naively thought that you could only get Crunchie bars in NZ. They are also good when you smash them up and put on your bowl of icecream.
Have you considered Nestle? It's creamy, rich and also should be readily available at your local store.
Hmm, Nestle eh? I have to think of what chocobars are made by them and whether or not I like them. Let me ponder.
