Now that I am older the whole Christmas thing kind of passes me by but this year it seems to me that everyone is rather surprised that Christmas is only (approximately) a week away. I think this stems from the fact that our winter weather has thusfar been very mild. One snowstorm (and it wasn't a very fierce one) and it is freakishly warm outside. Some people can't seem to get into the holiday spirit without fresh snow so I am hoping (for them, not me) that it snows lightly on Christmas day and goes away on the 26th.
