Well, I am back at work after the Christmas Party and I have to say that although I had an awesome time with Scott and the open bar, I wasn't too ill on Sunday. I mean, yes, I had a wicked headache and got queasy a couple of times but for the amount of alcohol I drank I think I did pretty well in the "hangover" department. I will admit that I am pretty much on auto-pilot this morning but I think that has more to do with the fact that I only got home at 3am on Sunday morning and I'm not really used to those hours.
Well, at least that's my story and I'm going to stick with it.
Also, I don't think I am going to drink wine for a couple of months.

Sounds like you made the most of the open bar. It's nice when work does that.
We had our work function on a Thursday night. Why that day of the week, of all days? Still, the following Friday was a pretty lazy day.
I was alright with the drinks this time. I still remember my work party from last year when I learnt not to drink lots of beer AND wine in close succession.
