Tasks, tasks, tasks

I have agreed to undertake a couple of new tasks at work and damn it, now it means I am busy, like, the entire day. I don't know how I feel about the change in my blogging schedule - I mean, I used to have a lot of free time during which to blog when I was at work and now I do not. (Well, except for now as I am on my lunch break and I usually like to reserve those for open-eyed napping or, um, eating).

I also have a deadline in which to finish one of my new tasks and that is mid-November, which means I only have a month to finish up everything. Why did I agree to this new task? Why? Why? Why? I don't do well with deadlines - they freak me out. I would rather get everything finished up way ahead of time in order NOT to deal with them but alas I can only do so much as much of my task has to do with waiting around for lawyers to get back to my with the information I requested. There are like three steps to the task and some of the lawyers are only on task one because they're "busy" with clients and court dates. What a crock. LIARS!

What's with this work thing, anyway? It kinda cramps my style.
